About me

"Your classes are like a therapy to me"
said a student once, which resonated with
me so much. I consider the wellbeing of the
student just as an important focus as the
academic curriculum itself. I have seen how
it makes a significant difference to the
learning process.

Having started my journey as a student
myself, I am aware of the difficulties and
obstacles when learning a new language.
Now, as a qualified teacher, I can provide
the right support to overcome these barriers
and to make learning a language
interesting and relatable.

My Background

During the last 12 years I had the chance to work as a teacher for different
language schools and companies and was lucky to get an insight into
different teaching methods and approaches. I have been working as a
private teacher for the last 8 years giving 1-on-1 and small group classes,
also providing language courses to companies (WebSummit, Second
Home,Grand Vision, etc.)

I am the author of Português Para Ti, an A1/A2 level textbook that helps
students with acquiring the basics of the Portuguese language through
authentic and interesting exercises.

In addition to earning a master’s degree in foreign language teaching
(English-Portuguese), I am also qualified as a Mental Health Specialist and
have a diploma in Social-Emotional Learning from the University of San
Diego.

Resources

A perfect textbook does not exist. But we
wanted to create one that is close to
perfect, one that supports the learning
process with authentic materials and
guides the student on his/her journey.
That is why we created the Português
Para Ti ebook, an A1/A2 level textbook.

For those who are preparing for the CIPLE

(A2 level) language exam, we created an
ebook that contains three series of sample
exercises that will prepare you for what to
expect at the exam.

Beside classes, you can book consultations
with me to obtain information about the
exam, ask questions and practice the
speaking part.
